Lt Col Alice L. Cox

1929 – 2015

Lt Col Alice L. Cox, USAF, Retired passed away on May 25, 2015  at Loma Linda Univ. Medical Center. She was born on July 25, 1929 in Knox Co., TN and lived in Moreno Valley, CA for 27 years.  Alice was preceded in death by her husband Willard Mosher in 2007 and parents Rancy Cox and Gladys Claiborne.  

She served on active duty from January 1962 – January 1982.  Her most memorable AF experience she submitted for the book, 50 Years of AF Dietetics 1949 – 1999:  During my tour (1973-1975) at Clark AB, Philippines I acted as an advisor for the Mothercraft project which was a joint effort of the USAF and Filipino Air Force.  Mothers with young children were taught nutrition and applied it in the preparation of meals for their families.
